Per Move Timer
The Move Timer displays the amount of time you have for each turn, as agreed upon by you and your opponent before the game begins. The Move Timer is reset at the end of every turn. If the Move Timer runs out, you continue your turn using the Global timer.

Global Timer
This is an overall timer that begins to tick each time your Move Timer runs out. Unlike the Move Timer which is reset at the end of each turn, when the Global Timer runs out, the game is lost! Think of Global time as emergency time, and always try to finish a move using the given Move time.

Disconnections
Here at BGroom we understand that internet connections do not always work as they should, so in the event that you are disconnected during play, you will have 5 minutes in which to reconnect and sign into BGroom, at which point you will be automatically reconnected to your game.

In an effort to stop players intentionally disconnecting or forfeiting during game play when they are losing, BGroom will penalize such activity, as described below:

ActionWhat will happen?
Disconnection If you fail to reconnect to a game from which you were disconnected within 5 minutes (either intentionally or unintentionally) you will lose the game, and you will pay your opponent double the original game wager plus whatever the stakes are according to the doubling cube at the time of disconnection.

For example, if the agreed wager before play was $10, then you will pay your opponent $20. If you or your opponent doubled once with the Doubling cube, you will then pay a total of $40.

Global Timer
(Per Total game)
In the event that your Per Total timer runs out of time (either intentionally or unintentionally) whilst playing, you will lose the game. You will pay your opponent double the original game wager plus whatever the stakes are according to the doubling cube when the timer runs out.

For example, if the agreed wager before play was $10, then you will pay your opponent $20. If you or your opponent doubled once with the Doubling cube, you will then pay a total of $40.

Closing window by clicking on “X” tab If you close an active game window by clicking on the “X” tab in the upper right hand corner of the window during the game (either intentionally or unintentionally) you will automatically lose the game. In this situation, you will pay your opponent triple the original game wager plus whatever the stakes are according to the doubling cube at the time of game window closure.

For example, if the agreed game wager before play was $10, then you will pay your opponent $30. If you or your opponent doubled once with the Doubling cube, you will then pay a total of $60.

BGroom.com constantly monitors all activities on its servers and any players that repeatedly end their game in any the above circumstances will be investigated and may have action taken against them as BGroom.com sees fit.
